1. Lavender oil

A study confirmed that lavender essential oil can prevent allergic inflammation and enlargement of mucous cells. You can dilute lavender oil in a carrier oil and apply it on your body or alternatively you can also put some drops in your bathwater.
2. Peppermint oil
Peppermint oil is another effective essential oil known to reduce inflammation. Peppermint oil provides relief from allergies as well as colds, coughs, sinusitis, asthma, and bronchitis. Take 1-2 drops of peppermint oil internally once a day to reduce inflammation.
3. Lemon oil
